Explore the convenings and initiatives that informed Float
Float emerged from a series of convenings supported by the 11th Hour Project in collaboration with partners OpenTEAM, TIFS, DWeb, NADAWG, GOAT, and Raft Foundation. It draws on the extensive work from communities of practice, organizations and individuals working on food systems.
Over the course of 2024 these events formed the foundation on which Float is built. Ideas expanded, changed, fractured, and crystallized through many iterations, gaining traction, clarity, and raising new questions as additional perspectives were added. This initiative serves as an experimental pilot to test some of the emerging themes for resilient and responsive funding in agricultural technology. Below you can dig into some of the highlights and core outputs from these gatherings.
